If there's one fashion statement that I'd approve of and would gladly follow, it's Normcore; it's actually the classic casual ensemble of top, skirt/jeans, and rubber shoes, only with a fancy name nowadays. It's more functional than fashionable though, but I'd gladly have it any day!
Now throw in a pair of classic white kicks such as Adidas Stan Smith and you're good to go!
